California Notice at Collection

This California Notice at Collection applies to California residents and supplements the LocalProRepairs Privacy Policy.

GridHome Group LLC (“GridHome Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects personal information through LocalProRepairs, including through localprorepairs.com, calculators, search tools, forms, planning features, newsletters, interactive tools, and related communications.

This Notice explains the categories of personal information we may collect, the purposes for which we collect and use that information, whether we sell or share personal information, and how long we retain personal information.

1. Categories of Personal Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use LocalProRepairs, we may collect the following categories of personal information.

a. Identifiers

Examples include:

• name;

• phone number;
• mailing address, if provided;
• IP address;
• device identifiers; and
• similar identifiers.

b. Internet or other electronic network activity information

Examples include:

• approximate location inferred from IP address.

We do not collect precise geolocation unless we provide a separate notice and obtain any consent required by law.

e. Commercial, preference, and project-interest information

Examples include:

• repair categories viewed;
• project types selected;
• budget ranges;
• timing preferences;
• service interests;
• newsletter preferences;
• saved or generated planning outputs, if available; and
• content or resource preferences.

f. Inferences

We may create limited inferences from your use of LocalProRepairs, such as suggested categories, resource recommendations, planning suggestions, or content personalization based on your interactions with the Services.

g. Sensitive personal information

We do not request sensitive personal information through general LocalProRepairs forms, calculators, or planning tools.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, medical information, information about children, highly sensitive legal or insurance details, or other sensitive information through general forms or free-text fields.

If account-related functionality is introduced in the future, we may collect information needed to secure and manage account access, such as login credentials or authentication-related information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about individuals.

2. Purposes for Collection and Use

We may collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

• to operate, maintain, and improve LocalProRepairs;
• to provide calculators, guides, planning tools, search tools, filters, resource suggestions, and related site features;
• to respond to inquiries, requests, support messages, and other communications;
• to personalize content, planning outputs, and resource suggestions;
• to analyze traffic, usage patterns, site performance, and feature engagement;
• to improve search results, cost-estimation logic, content organization, and user experience;

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We do not knowingly disclose personal information collected through LocalProRepairs for cross-context behavioral advertising unless and until we provide any notice and opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.

If applicable privacy law treats any analytics, advertising, cookie, pixel, or similar tracking activity as a “sale” or “sharing,” we will provide required notices and opt-out rights, including a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism where required.

4. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about individuals.

If we collect sensitive personal information in the future, we will use it only for purposes permitted by applicable law or as otherwise disclosed at or before collection.

5. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, including to operate LocalProRepairs, respond to inquiries, improve the Services, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and support backup and archival processes.

Our retention criteria include the type of information, the purpose for collection, the sensitivity of the information, operational needs, security needs, legal requirements, and whether the information is still needed for the Services.

Category-based retention criteria

• Identifiers: retained as needed to respond to inquiries, provide communications, maintain records, operate the Services, protect security, and comply with legal obligations.
• Internet or other electronic network activity information: retained as needed for analytics, security, debugging, fraud prevention, service integrity, and product improvement.
• User-submitted content: retained as needed to respond to requests, operate tools, improve the Services, troubleshoot issues, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
• Geolocation-related information: retained as needed to provide location-relevant resources, improve planning tools, troubleshoot the Services, and maintain security.
• Commercial, preference, and project-interest information: retained as needed to provide planning tools, personalize content, improve recommendations, understand user interests, and support communications.
• Inferences: retained as needed to provide recommendations, improve user experience, and operate the Services.
• Sensitive personal information, if collected: retained only as needed for the disclosed purpose, security, account functionality if introduced, compliance, or other purposes permitted by law.

Backup and archived copies may persist for a limited period as part of standard retention and disaster recovery processes.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, anonymize, or aggregate it unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.
